It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of Doug Peterson, a Founding Member of the Elmhurst Centre for Performing Arts and member of our Board of Directors. Doug’s vision, passion, and continued dedication to the performing arts shaped the ECPA mission and were a driving force behind the idea of a performing arts center. Doug leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire our community to explore, create, and reach new heights to discover beautiful things in the world of performing arts. We had the privilege of working alongside Doug since our dream began in 2016. As we mourn this tremendous loss to our community, we are committed to carrying forward the work and values he possessed and instilled in us and our work. Our thoughts are with Doug’s wife Cindy, his children Brian and Julie, and the entire Peterson Family. Thank you, Doug. You will be forever remembered.
