OK Go’s “Here It Goes Again“ earned the band a Grammy Award for Best Music Video in 2007. “The Treadmill Video” ushered in the You Tube era and has racked up over 59 million views to date. As of 2020, OK Go had over 1 billion views on their YouTube channel. They continue to surprise their fans with music videos filled with wonder and surprise.
Born and raised in Elmhurst and a York High School graduate, we are delighted to welcome Dan Konopka back to his hometown as he shares the story of OK Go. Listen to how the band “found” the ideas for their elaborate music videos, fun facts, and behind-the-scenes tidbits about their creation. Get up close and personal; get up to speed on what is happening now with the band and with Dan himself.
A performance from York students with Dan Konopka will conclude this memorable night. We are pleased to welcome and showcase Laney Toffler, Will Blanchette, and CJ Cannon for this special evening.
Join us at our newest fundraising series, “An Intimate Evening with… Dan Konopka.”
