Share your passion and contribute to the long-term future of the arts in Elmhurst by including ECPA among the bequests your family makes. Join other donors who have planned gifts to ECPA.
You will demonstrate your dedication to the arts and receive financial advantages to your estate, reducing tax liabilities for your family and other beneficiaries. ECPA is a registered 501(c)3 organization and so donations are fully exempt from Federal Estate taxes. This is one way to share your love of the performing arts with future generations.
Future Bequests
There are a variety of ways to make a charitable bequest through your will or living trust. You can choose to bequeath a specific dollar amount; you can pass along a property such as a stock; or you can determine a percentage of your estate to give to ECPA. Please consult with your attorney to incorporate a gift into your living trust, as a way to honor your support for the arts in Elmhurst.
IRA or 401K Provision
Consider naming ECPA as a beneficiary of your IRA or pension plan. Retirement plans may be subject to estate taxes after death and income tax as the funds are received by a beneficiary, diminishing the ultimate value of the account. By naming ECPA, a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization, as a beneficiary, these tax liabilities can be avoided, allowing you to leave your family other assets that incur less tax liability.
If you are 70 ½ years of age or older, you are qualified to make a tax-free gift from your IRA today.
