Doug Peterson
Doug Peterson is the Founder and CEO of Chicago Records Management. CRM is a family owned business, where Doug partners with his wife Cindy. Doug’s interest in theater started in college. As a business major at Southern Illinois University, Doug was invited by a director to audition for Little Mary Sunshine. After Doug was cast, the theatre bug bit and he switched majors. He left SIU to attend Columbia College in Chicago where he majored in Theater. With a couple of classmates, he started up Prop Thtr in Chicago. The company is still active today. After testing the waters as an actor and realizing the lack of steady income, Doug turned his acting abilities into sales, founding CRM in 1988. Recently, Doug took on the role of Executive Producer of the critically acclaimed and Jeff Nominated “Hizzoner,” a play about Richard J Daley. He is a past President of Elmhurst Children’s Theater and York Drama Boosters.
